To book a Hunt With Us

If you are interested in our hunts and you want to receive more information about our programs, you can contact by e-mail to [email protected] or by phone (+34) 868 189 642 and we will gladly send you the complete information and answer to your questions.

If you have special preferences as a combination of different species, some hunting & holidays package with your family or friends or any other special program, we can tailor a hunting tour according to your wishes or budget.

Also if you have a house in our country or any other accommodation and want that we organize only the hunting part of the program, we can also do it.

Once you have choose your hunting program, then we need to receive your passport copy to fill in our “Booking Contract”.

To arrange your Spanish hunting license, we would need to receive also copy of your current hunting license in your country and copy of your EU weapon passport. If you are not EU member then you must to ask to your closest Spanish Consulate for the necessary permit to hunt with your rifle or with one of our rifles in our country. Please read more about this in “Gun Clearance”.

Our programs normally include all the services from your arrival to the airport where Iberhunting staff is waiting for you airport where your guide will meet you and will accompany you during all your trip and will care for your hunt. After the clearance documents for bringing your riffle, if you decide to bring it, you will be transfer to the hotel close to the hunting area. Amazing hunting days will be waiting for you!

Payments & Cancellations

To book a hunt with us we need to receive deposit of 50% to reserve your program and to fix a hunting date. The balance is due no later than sixty days before the hunting date. Any reservation made less than sixty days in advance of the hunting date will be confirmed by the full payment of the hunt.

Any cancellation of a reservation must be notified in writing and shall only be effective once our company confirms to him its reception. Cancellation charges shall be applied in the following situations:

In case of cancellation with more than 180 days before the hunting date, the deposit will be refunded less 10% and 500 (five hundred) euros as administration fees.
In case of cancellation between 180 and 61 days before the hunting date, the total deposit is forfeited.
In case of cancellation of 60 or less days before the hunting date, all booked services must be paid. We suggest every client to have cancellation insurance.

What happen if the client doesn’t shoot his trophy during his trip?

In the unexpected case of any hunter doesn’t shoot his trophy during his trip because there was bad weather conditions or the client didn’t see the kind of trophy he booked, then he comes back again to hunt during the next two years with the only cost of your spanish hunting licence and insurance (175,00.-€) and the dailyrates (350,00.-€)

Equipment List For Hunting in Spain

This list shall only be a little help and can be extended individually. Also the equipment depends on the time of the year but basically we recommend you:

* Two trousers: wind and waterproof hunting trousers.

* One warm wind and waterproof hunting jacket.

* One sweater or fleece vest.

* Shirts.

* Underwear

* Well walked-in mountain boots

* Socks, gloves, hat or cap and one warm hood

* Sun-protection cream

* Backpack

* Binoculars

* Some recommended calibers for hunting in Spain: 300 WM, 338 WM, 270 Weath., 8×68, 300 Weath.

Taxidermy & Shipment Of The Trophies

When you get your trophy, in the field we make the first preparation according to your wishes, if you want the skull or also the skin to mount your trophy by the taxidermist.

We work with professional experienced taxidermists. We can offer you the option to boil the skulls and sault the skins if you want that your own taxidermist mount your trophy or the option to mount your trophy in our country.

We can ship the trophies to your adresse, we have the accreditation that allows our company to accede to the processing of the necessary certificates for the export of taxidermy trophies.

What happen if the client doesn’t shoot his trophy during his trip?

Gun Clearance

If you want to bring your own rifle with you and you are EU member the documents you need to take with you the following documents:

European Weapon Passport.
Current Hunting License of your country.
Passport or Identity Card.

If you are not EU member, even if you want to bring your rifle with you or if you will use one of our weapon should apply for a permit at your closest Consulate General of Spain and present the following documents at least one month before departure:

Letter of invitation that we will provide you.
Original passport and one copy of the same (Green Card or Visa if applicant is not a US Citizen). If you apply by mail only notarized copy where Notary should certify that it is a true copy of original.
Original hunting license in force and one copy. If you apply by mail only notarized copy where Notary should certify that it is a true copy of original.
Translation of hunting license (you can find an exemple in the Consulate General of Spain website)
Application form (we can submit you this form or to get it into the Consulate Website).
Complete fly itinerary.
Payment of the fee specified in the Spanish Consulate Website. Payments can be made in cash or by Money Order issued to Consulate General of Spain.

The authorization for the use of hunting guns in Spain is needed if you bring your own rifle with you or if you use one of our rifles as well. In this last case, we will send you the necessary form with the information of the gun that you will use in our country during your stay. When traveling, comply with the laws concerning possession of firearms as they vary by local, state and international governments. Inform your airline when you are going to book your flights about to carry a weapon and if it is the first time you are traveling internationally with a firearm, please check about regulation and for clarification on what you may or may not transport in your carry-on or checked baggage. Once you are in Spain and comes back home, the ammunition must to be carried in a separate container of rifle made by aluminium or hard plastic; rifle and ammunition must to be declare before the checking in the police control. Very important to know is that SILENCERS are forbidden in our country.
